Kardinal Foundry
We build on Kardinal, so your team doesn't have to.
Our team models, deploys and runs optimization with large carriers, shippers and parcel networks.
Before you get in touch
Most teams don’t need us.
Start here
The API, the documentation and the starter kit are built so that one engineer can reach production in a few days.
Talk to us when
- You have no engineering bandwidth
- You have no in-house optimization experience
- Your problem doesn’t fit a standard model
Model, Deploy or Build: work with us the way your problem needs.
Model the problem
When your problem doesn't fit a standard model. We do the modeling (constraints, objectives, data, trade-offs) and hand you a specification your engineers can implement, benchmarked on your own data.
Deliverable
A modeling specification, benchmarked on your data.
Typical duration
1 to 2 weeks
Deploy into your operations
When you want Kardinal live in production, fast. We handle data mapping, API integration and constraint tuning alongside your team, until the first optimization runs inside your product.
Deliverable
Your first production plan, live inside your product.
Typical duration
2 weeks to 1 month
Build the application
When you need the system, not just the API. With our own agentic tooling, we design and deliver the full application on top of Kardinal. You own the code.
Deliverable
A running application you own.
Typical duration
1 to 2 months
Proven in production, self-serve or through Foundry
Route optimization is live self-serve today. The rest of the catalog is already deployed with our customers and delivered through Foundry.
Self-serve
Sign up and start today.
Through Foundry
In production at Kardinal customers, delivered through an engagement.
In beta
Open to a small number of design partners.

Territory Pavement
The first automated solution to divide a delivery territory into workload-balanced cells.
- Automated territory paving
- Workload-balanced cells
- Aligned with real terrain (rivers, roads, etc.)
Territory Sectorization
A strategic tool giving depot managers the visibility and decision support to manage and optimize their territory's activity.
- Decision support for depot managers
- Support for subcontractor contract negotiation
- Accounts for parcel volume volatility
Route Optimization
Route optimization that models every specific field constraint, recognized by Gartner in its 2025 Market Guide for Vehicle Routing & Scheduling.
- Intuitive interface for planners
- Models all industry-specific constraints
- Predictive traffic
- Best functional coverage on the market
Route Execution
The app that optimizes routes in seconds and helps drivers deliver faster while saving fuel and costs.
- Simple mobile app for drivers
- Single-route optimization
- Navigation and ETA tracking
- Proof of delivery and approach notification
Optimization for every kind of operation.

Field Services
Three things. We wrote the solver, so the modeling work isn't research for us. You hold your own Kardinal account and pay public rates directly, so we never sit between you and the product. And we're a small team with no incentive to keep you dependent: our business is the product, the engagement exists to get you onto it.
Yes, and deliberately so. Kardinal usage is billed on your own account at the public rates listed on our pricing page. Foundry services are quoted and billed separately, with scope agreed before we start. We never bundle the two, because bundling is how service firms make the product cost invisible.
You own the code and the account, so nothing stops. Maintenance is settled at kickoff, not at delivery: either your team takes it over, and we hand it over properly, or we quote a separate maintenance contract with an explicit cap. We won't leave you with a system only we can operate.
No. What goes back into the documentation are generic modeling patterns: how to express a class of constraint, how to structure a certain kind of problem. Your data, your rules, your commercial specifics and anything identifying you stay in the engagement. If you'd rather we publish nothing at all from our work together, say so at kickoff.
Nothing operational. Same team, same commitments, same contacts, same systems running. Some product names have changed as we've opened the catalog up: your account manager has the mapping and will walk you through it. If you want to move part of your setup onto the self-serve API, that's a conversation, not an obligation.
