The rise in online sales in recent years, boosted by the COVID crisis, is a major challenge to all last-mile delivery companies. The increasing seasonality and unpredictability of the business is putting a strain on structures and people who, on a daily basis, innovate to reinvent processes and systems. DPD has decided to implement the TAO (Territory Analytics & Optimization) software solution to sectorize the areas of its 68 agencies and optimize their routes.
This partnership is part of DPD’s global approach to integrate Data and AI strategies for more responsive and optimized operation management in the short, medium and long term.
