The Kardinal team is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Innovation Award in the “Technologies, IoT, and Information Systems” category at the 2024 SITL.
From March 19th to 21st, 2024, more than 25,000 professionals from the Transportation and Logistics industry gathered at the Parc des Expositions de Villepinte for the 41st edition of the International Transport and Logistics Exhibition. On the second day, the awards ceremony honoring innovative Supply Chain actors took place.
During the ceremony, 6 Innovation Awards were presented in different categories:
- “Transport Equipment”: won by VUF Bikes with the VUF XXL MAX ACTIVE COLD.
- “Robotic Intralogistics & Automation”: won by Sealed Air Corporation with the autobag 850SP paper bagging machine and by Protect Choc – Groupe TOTEM, for its LightUs detection system.
- “Sustainable Real Estate”: won by BARJANE Parc de Aiguilles, for their project of cleaning up a brownfield site.
- “Transport & Logistics Services”: won by VTG R2L (roadraillink) for their R2L system which allows the transport of standard semi-trailers (non-craneable).

This award recognizes our new intelligent appointment scheduling solution that we announced during the exhibition with our partner Hub One, the first to integrate it into their solution.
Our “Optimal & Dynamic Appointment” (ODA) solution revolutionizes delivery slot management by intelligently optimizing appointments while taking into account existing schedules.
The integration of this API enables new innovative features:
- Strategic display of time slots: users can choose to display or hide certain delivery slots based on their impact on their business objectives.
- Calculation of ecological impact: the environmental impact of delivery slots can be displayed to the end customer to encourage more sustainable choices.
- Dynamic pricing: the prices of time slots can vary based on the actual operational cost of delivery. If a delivery is already scheduled on the same day in the neighborhood, the rate is adjusted downwards if the chosen time slot is the same.
Its dynamic optimization features allow last-mile delivery actors to efficiently plan and adjust delivery slots, ensuring better performance and convenience for all stakeholders.
Two of Kardinal’s three co-founders, Jonathan Bouaziz (CEO) and Cédric Hervet (Director of Innovation), were delighted to receive this trophy at the ceremony on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
We warmly thank the jury members, the entire Kardinal team, as well as our partners and clients for their support and trust.
